The Parlour is brought to you by MIEN Magazine– the newly launched digital cradle dedicated to etiquette, culture and style.
The Parlour hopes take guests away from the fast-paced, intense, digital world we live in, inviting them to interact and engage with each other in a charming setting.
Mobile telephones are not welcome and neither are any modern distractions.
Why?
Well, it’s quite simple really: because at the Parlour, we focus on civilised and genteel pursuits such as letter writing, etiquette workshops and face to face conversations. We are interested in engaging with people, thinking, expressing, playing games (like Scrabble or Cribbage) and enjoying each other’s company – just as one should in a parlour setting.
